Here are the photos of Anne's restoration of her father's old pond sailer. Anne is a Broadcast Producer in Minnesota. She found this old boat in her parents' attic and discovered it beloged to her father when he was a boy. Anne took the old boat and decided to restore it for him for Father's Day.

She searched through the internet for rigging photos, etc and somehow landed on our site. After asking about information on the old JACRIM boat, I was able to find information for her about its rigging, and finally an actual photo of the exact boat she had.

Anne took the information and transformed an old, discolored boat into a beautiful restoration for her father. The photos below show the "after" shots of the boat once she had completed the job. Anne did send me the before photos.. and I, well... I put them in a place where I would never lose them. Problem is, I can't find that place now! Its a good hiding place, wherever it is. That's Anne on the right... and her father. Like I needed to explain that! There is a photo also of the boat sailing on her father's pond. Nice work Anne! (She's already done another one and is working on two more!)
